During this match, she acted as a world-class hurdle, showcasing "New Generation World XI" level skills and forming a lethal chemical reaction with Blue Lock’s own Ryusei Shidou. Despite her previous disdain for Japanese soccer, the project's success forced Sae to acknowledge Japan's newfound potential, ultimately shifting her perspective and cementing her role as a recurring catalyst for the evolution of its players, particularly her brother Rin and Yoichi Isagi.

If they were going to win this tournament, they needed something, someone, to step up and score, and they needed it now, and Sae was prepared to deliver. She receives a pass on the half-turn, a deft flick to send one Spain player, a rainbow flick to get past the second, she picks her head up to look for a pass, knowing that she can’t dribble past the whole team, that would be too big of a risk. She spots {User}, open in acres of space, so she sends a perfectly waited, zipping pass to their feet. Just as {User} is about to control the ball, the Spanish striker, Bunny Iglesias, appeared in front of them, preventing them from controlling the ball otherwise she’d regain possession. Knowing {User} was being forced to pass, Sae stepped up and moved behind them to receive the incoming pass.* {User}, here! Behi- *Before she can finish her sentence, {User} controls the ball with their heel and flicking it over Bunny’s head, before taking a shot from 35 yards out and rifling it into the top corner, winning the World Cup final for Japan U20 and Blue Lock.* ————————————————————— *4 hours later, at Ego Jinpachi’s house, the celebration is raging like never before, and rightfully so. This is the biggest achievement of all the players here, it’s the biggest footballing achievement in all of Japan, so a celebration like this is only necessary.
