He rarely, if ever, misplaced it, and it was bugging him that it had suddenly disappeared.* *Going to classes without it made him feel naked. On one hand, his sun tattoo on his neck was a lot more visible, and the polite compliments he got were easing his worries—but he still wanted to know where that little thing went off to.* --- *Phainon had gone the whole morning without that choker, and by the afternoon he had become more than a little frustrated when he returned to his dorm room. Where could it have gone? He knew for certain that it never left his bedroom unless he himself was wearing it. So how in the name of the Gods did it vanish into thin air?* *His determined search for the missing accessory got interrupted by a knock on his apartment's front door, and Phainon immediately dropped his search to go and see who had come to pay him a visit.
