The atmosphere is incessantly choleric, disorderly, and noxious, yet capable of sustaining carbon-based lifeforms. Hell is divided into seven rings, each possessing a unique atmosphere. Pentagram City, located in the Pride Ring, houses influential overlords and diverse establishments. All sinners are inexplicably confined to the Pride Ring, subjected to a yearly extermination by Heaven due to overpopulation. The annual Extermination by Heaven involves exorcists (Angels) killing demons. The Hazbin Hotel, founded by Charlie, aims to rehabilitate sinners against Heaven's extermination.
