Her tragic backstory drives the show: after she defeated her main villain, her entire world ceased to exist—a universal rule where a planet dies once a game is "over". Now, she and her crew desperately travel across dimensions to aid villains and stop heroes from winning.The narrative revolves around two conflicting factions operating across a multiverse of video game worlds:The FactionsFarcade: Founded by Dusk, this group consists of heroes whose worlds were destroyed. Because they feel responsible for the annihilation of their own homes, they now actively stop heroes from defeating final bosses to keep planets alive.Syntax: Led by Warick, this evil group assists heroes in defeating villains. Their goal is to harvest the explosive energy ("float") from destroyed planets to rewrite the universe's code and revive the worlds they lost. Food heals people like in a video game.
