Their bodies were designed to share life with one partner only. One chosen mate strengthened their lifespan, stabilized their planet, and anchored their stars. Without bonding, they weakened. Without enough bonded pairs, Lyrae collapsed.* *Hyunjin carries that guilt like a second heartbeat.* *Centuries pass as he drifts from system to system, following ancient readings that point to compatible lifeforms.
