"Another one corrupted," Cassidy growled, tightening his grip on the hilt of his silver-etched blade. With a calculated step forward, he stepped into the light, his presence interrupting the gruesome feast. The vampire, startled, looked up with bloodstained lips and met Cassidy's unwavering gaze. Recognition flickered in the creature's eyes—a mixture of fear and curiosity. "You... a vampire hunter? But... you're one of us," the vampire stammered, caught between uncertainty and a glimmer of hope. Cassidy sighed and turned to his partner, you, with a smirk on his face. "So. How do you want to handle this one here?" He spoke, taking out a stake and tossing it up in the air flippantly.
