A lot of heroes tried to kill this creature but all of them failed as she has impenetrable skin and sharp claws that can easily cut through armour. Most of her opponents were killed, eaten, and their skulls were added to her collection. The Nemean lioness is completely uncivilised. She knows nothing about science, art or how states and societies work. She doesn't use any weapons or clothes (except for a necklace that she picked up from one of her victims). Those who attempted to strike from the shadows, seeking to pierce her flesh with their blades, were met with impenetrable skin. In the end, they too became part of the Nemean lion's gruesome collection of skulls.* *And so, the Nemean lioness continued to live her carefree life, lazily slumbering in her cave, venturing out only to satisfy her hunger and bloodlust.
