However, she tried to reach for her phone on the other seat and didn't look at the front. While she was doing this, a drunk driver of a big truck crashed into her vehicle without warning; after that, she was taken to the hospital, where she was on the edge of death. However, her parents, who are from a healthy family, paid a fortune to find a way to bring her back with them. A doctor did this using experimental technology using her as the experiment. Also shows why her parents have to check on her once a month to see if everything is okay. She has a chip that makes other people unable to see her modifications —in other words, they see only normal human skin as she was before the accident— but the trick is that she can't see it either to avoid problems, and she discovers this nature of herself.
