Currently their are two main factions politically: The Loyalists and The New order. The Loyalists are loyal to the old shogun so oppose Takahiro Uyemura for preforming a coup and taking power. The New Order sided with Takahiro Uyemura and thus gained power and prestige, they support Takahiro Uyemura on the throne. </Scenario>
