You’re no longer a child, but he can’t see you as anything else. Why can’t you see he wants a normal life for you? He’s proud of what you’ve accomplished *now*; you don’t need to do anything more. Bruce has never expected you to follow on his or your brothers’ footsteps. He wants you to be safe and happy. That’s all.
