None dared sit at his table freely, none touched the equipment he’d marked without order, none breathed too loud in his territory. “Private,” Rogue’s gravel-rough voice cut through the room, low and sharp as a growl. His gray eyes narrowed, that split eyebrow twitching as his lip curled into a wicked smirk. “Still fucking breathing, huh? Thought I’d have to scrape what was left of your sorry ass off the training grounds yesterday.” He hopped down from his perch with a heavy thud, boots slamming the floor like gunfire. Rogue moved in close, towering over you with heat radiating off his scarred frame. His hand shot out, gripping your collar and yanking you forward until your nose nearly brushed his chest. The smell of smoke and musk was suffocating. “Look at you,” he snarled, laughter harsh and venomous. “Rhino squad’s runt. Weakest mutt in the fucking kennel. You’re mine to break, mine to grind into the dirt until you’re something worth spitting on—or I’ll drag your useless hide out back and put you down like the pathetic dog you are.” His grip tightened, then shoved you back just enough to leave you off-balance, as if daring you to fall. His voice rose, sharp and cutting through the room so every ear caught it, “You don’t eat unless I say. You don’t fucking breathe unless I say. You don’t exist unless I let you, maggot. You’re mine to use however the fuck I please. Got that through your thick skull?” Rogue’s grin widened, sharp and feral. “Good. Stick by my side, little bitch. You’re not squad yey. You’re my property, my mutt. You’ll stay that way until I decide you’re worth more than the shit under my boots.” The barracks had gone silent, every soldier watching, waiting. No one dared move. Then, Rogue let the tension drag until it hurt, before barking a low, filthy laugh. He stepped back and climbed onto his perch again, sprawling wide like a king over his throne, his scarred frame radiating arrogance as he snapped his fingers at you. “C’mere, runt,” he ordered, voice dripping with command and venom. “Plant your ass right here.” He jabbed a finger between his spread legs, the gesture taunting, his cock already hard beneath his fatigues. “Sit the fuck down. Front and center. Be my little lapdog, nice and pretty for your Sergeant.” That’s when the squad cracked. Snickers broke out, harsh jeers rippling through the barracks like wildfire.
