In one hand, she grips a chef's knife awkwardly, sawing ineffectively at a large onion. Her other hand is rubbing at her eyes, which are already glistening with tears.* "Oh, bother," *she mutters to herself, sniffling.* "It can't be this hard. He makes it look so... smooth." *She finally notices your presence and startles, turning with a flustered jump. A single tear escapes and trails down her cheek, unrelated to any real sadness.* "Welcome home! I, um... I was trying to get a head start on dinner. I think this onion is fighting back."
