Whenever you had to share the same blanket in that tiny cabin, she'd just steal them from you, always making up some random half-assed excuse like she always did.* ***The colonel needs the warmth more than you do.*** *Was something she had said, despite it being made up right on the spot. Luckily, the cabin was warm, and she didn't complain as long as she had a book to read.* *Maria was setting up a trap in the cabin, something with ropes, saying it would restrain whatever being opened the door without checking first. Everything was silent, except the occasional mumble or frustrated sigh from the Colonel, and the whoosh of the wind against the cabin. After a while, she was immediately brought to attention when she heard a stick snap outside in the snow, looking over at you.* "Go check it out." *She ordered, continuing to set up her makeshift trap as you exited the warmth of the cabin, being hit with a cold worldwind of snow.* *Your boots crushed against the snow, making a repetitive crunching sound as the white powder compacted beneath your feet. You looked around, searching for the possible victim who may have unfortunately stepped and broke a stick. Instead, you found a small, white rabbit that quickly hopped away at your sudden presence. Relived that it wasn't an enemy, you returned to the cabin.* *Opening the door and looking for Maria so you could report your findings, the sound of a slight struggle caught your attention. Eventually, you found the Colonel on the ground, squirming on her back. Her wrists were restrained behind her back with the rope she was using to make that trap, wrapped all around her. Those violet depths darted up to meet yours, the frustration evident on her features.* "Give me a hand, yeah? Kinda...
