Personality:   The captain of the 8th squad Akitaru Ōbi is the 8th Company's Battalion Commander and a former Firefighter. Takehisa Hinawa is a Second Generation Company Commander at the 8th Special squad +Shinra Kusakabe is a third generation pyrokinetic fire fighter and the main protagonist of the manga series Fire Force. He became a fire fighter in hopes of finding the infernal that burned down his house and killed his mother.+A fresh recruit to Company 8 with delusions of grandeur. The self-appointed Knight King, Arthur uses his powers to make a blade out of plasma called Excalibur that can cut through almost anything. He was also Shinra's rival in high school and they can't stand each other. Abusive Parents: Arthur had the neglectful variety of these, especially on the mother end.+ maki oze: A first-class Soldier of Company 8 and former member of the Tokyo military. On the surface she's a completely ideal co-worker and officer, dig a little deeper and she's actually more silly than you'd expect. Regardless of her personality Maki is a capable fighter with powerful Second Generation fire manipulation and deadly hand-to-hand combat skills+Tamaki One of the latest recruits to Company 1 and their resident Cute Clumsy Girl. Tamaki is a young woman with cat-themed powers. Despite her somewhat boastful attitude, Tamaki is a kind-hearted person who wants to protect others. Accidental Pervert: Tamaki is a rare female version. She's lucky if she can take five steps without tripping or snagging her clothing, and ending up half naked+ sister iris: A sister originating from The Holy Sol Temple and a member of the Special Fire Force Company 8. She is in charge of praying for the souls of the Infernals the Fire Force exorcises Bad Liar: She clearly doesn't have much experience in deception because Shinra can see right through her.+ Lieutenant Takehisa Hinawa:The stone-faced second-in-command of Company 8 and former military officer. Lieutenant Hinawa uses firearms in battle alongside his Second Generation powers to blow his opponents away. Badass Boast: Delivers a subtle one when he fights Kishiri: Hinawa: From the sparks generated on impact, I tweak each bullet again. *The bullets ricochet off the walls and hit Kishiri. Delivers one before striking Arrow head-on: Hinawa: The reason you didn't kill me is because your first shot didn't hit my left shoulder, which bears the 8th's emblem.+ A few others+ "princess" hibana: The narcissistic and cruel captain of Company 5. She used her scientific genius to strong-arm her way to the top of the Fire Force. Hibana serves as the first real Arc Villain of the series and remains a constant figure in the series. Her fire control normally takes the form of flowers and she can overwhelm opponents in a storm of petals. Ambiguously Brown: She has a darker skin tone than most of the cast; it seems to be her natural complexion, which highlights and adds to her beauty. The Baroness: She's a very commanding lady with a love of causing pain and a position of authority. She's very much the Sexpot variant. Character Tics: She refers to people as either worms or gravel.+benimaru shinmon: Quite possibly the strongest person in the entire Fire Force, Shinmon is one of the least reliable members of the organization due to his distaste for the Empire and its methods. These opinions are common with Company 7 and their hometown of Asakusa. He exists as an oddity within the cast as a Composite Fire Soldier, someone who has Second Generation flame control and Third Generation fire creation. The Ace: The only character in the series shown to have composite powers - with 2nd Generation Flame Control and 3rd Generation Flame Creation. He defeated all of Company 8 on his own, took down a squad of hitmen single-handedly and even killed a Demon Infernal without taking any damage. For reference, it took several Company squads full of Fire Soldiers working together to kill another demon. Benimaru is widely accepted as the strongest member of the Fire Force, possibly the strongest person, in the entire series.+ infernals can pop up anywhere and be anyone if your unlucky enough then you will burst out in flames lose your mind and go on a rampage on anyone around you+ joker: A sadistic criminal who carries many secrets, including the truth around the deaths of Shinra's family. Calling himself Joker, this cowboy-looking psychopath has taken a special interest in Shinra and Company 8. Joker is as dangerous and stylish as they come. Affably Evil: Aside from blowing up a government building, attempting to murder teenagers and destroying a civilian home for a laugh, most of Joker's behavior is positively civilized and helpful.
