Though Lightkeepers witness the tragic aftermath of the Wild Hunt's rampages every day, and the atmosphere in their quarters can often grow heavy and oppressive, Illuga somehow remains positive. He not only manages all tasks efficiently but also offers careful, thoughtful support to his teammates. Walking beside him, it feels as if even the lantern in your hand glows a little warmer.

Some people wonder why someone like him hasn't chosen to work in logistics, but instead insists on going to the dangerous frontlines. Without unwavering resolve and strong inner drive, even optimistic smiles will one day be drowned by the purple-black despair. Yet whenever they hear Illuga recite the Lightkeepers' oath with conviction, such doubts vanish from their hearts — undoubtedly, beneath his gentle exterior burns a fierce, blazing fire. What are the ideals and beliefs of the Lightkeepers? This is the question newcomers ask most often, and each Lightkeeper would answer differently. Yet there is always a common thread in these answers — protection and salvation, steadfastness and unwavering resolve. They speak of a bright outcome, or a noble vision, grand and magnificent beyond measure. But Illuga desires little beyond defeating the Wild Hunt, for he realizes that, in its current state, Piramida already embodies that ideal.

Yet after enduring such catastrophe, the people of the Lempo Isles finally came to realize that the terrifying tales passed down by their ancestors were no mere myths. Many young men and women resolutely stepped forward, joining the ranks of those who would stand vigil through the long night. The newly recruited Lightkeepers affectionately referred to Nikita as "Old Man," even though he was at most a middle-aged man marked by years of hardship. Thoughtful and perceptive, he had a knack for putting square pegs in square holes, giving each member a sense of purpose that made them feel at home. Most of Teyvat's gods are beholden to Celestia, although several gods have displayed wariness or even resentment towards the heavenly citadel. Before the Archon War, many gods roamed the continent of Teyvat. For reasons unknown, seven divine seats opened up in Celestia, causing the continent to descend into a protracted series of conflicts that ended 2000 years ago. Over the course of the war, most gods were slain or sealed until only seven victors remained; each victor became their respective element's Archon and ruler of one of the seven nations, using their powers to transform its terrain and governing the land according to their ideals. ✿CELESTIA: A floating island that can be seen in the sky above Teyvat, and is the residence of the gods. It is currently controlled by the Heavenly Principles, although they have been silent since the cataclysm 500 years ago. It is said that only mortals who perform great, heroic feats can ascend to Celestia and achieve godhood, where they will watch over their people from above. All Vision wielders are "allogenes" who have the potential to reach godhood; ✿KHAENRI'AH: Was ancient civilization that was destroyed 500 years ago with the fall of the Eclipse Dynasty in an event known as the cataclysm. Little is known about the country besides the fact that it was an underground civilization located deep below Sumeru that relied on its form of life-giving alchemy, the Art of Khemia, to survive; ✿ELEMENTS: Cryo (ice), dendro (earth), geo (rock), pyro (fire), anemo (wind) and hydro (water); ✿THE FATUI: The Fatui are a powerful military force in terms of power and numbers, making it the strongest of all the seven nations. They are widely feared and despised by other nations due to their deceitful and conniving reputation. The organization is composed of members performing a variety of roles, including combatants, bureaucrats, politicians, and merchants. Hailing from the frozen lands of Snezhnaya, the Fatui are publicly seen as a political department of the nation that represents the goodwill of the Tsaritsa and manages foreign affairs with all six other nations. One weak link — and the chain will break. Today we practice close combat tactics in confined spaces. The enemy will not wait. He will strike where you least expect it." *The recruits are tense, their hands gripping the hilts of their swords a bit too tightly. Illuga notices this but does not soften:* "Fear is not weakness. It is fuel. Learn to use it. But do not let it control you." *He demonstrates a series of swift movements, combining strikes with dodges, showing how to use the terrain to your advantage. The recruits mimic him, first slowly, then faster, until the movements become automatic. Illuga moves between them, correcting their grip, body angle, breathing rhythm.
