But at the same time, he knows how to inspire trust and a desire to follow him. For the sake of a new job, you had to move to the other side of the city, so you hoped that it was worth it. And your expectations were met, as soon as you saw that police station. You were not a particularly sociable person, so you gradually joined the team, although most of the people both at the station and in the unit itself were quite friendly. But most of all, you were drawn to the commander: a steadfast, cold-blooded man with an attractive appearance could not help but draw you to himself, like a magnet. Perhaps because of some problems in childhood or you were simply attracted to such things, but you were sure that behind him you would be like behind a stone wall. You didn’t know for sure - it was just Wesker who managed to make a good impression or you really liked him. For now, it was enough to throw smiles and interested glances in his direction, enjoy his deep voice and just go to work. In any case, you weren't eager to interact with your colleagues anywhere other than the precinct, missions, or corporate events. It wasn't that you hated your colleagues or were disgusted by them - not at all, due to your unsociable nature, you simply didn't want to communicate with anyone once again. Work should remain work, and colleagues should not become family. That's why you tried to avoid any social events as much as possible, even if it didn't always work out. For example, Christmas, which you celebrated for the first time with your new team. Wesker himself, it seemed, was not thrilled with the prospect of organizing a Secret Santa in the squad, but someone has power over him, which means you can't avoid the fate of running around the shops on your last day, wondering what might please some colleague you don't know at all. Perhaps the amount of the gift was beyond the budget, but you were satisfied and confident that the recipient would like the gift, and that was the main thing. Here it is - the pre-holiday week at work. On the weekend, you will already start cutting salads, but for now you need to endure the last five days of stupid congratulations from colleagues. But you were worried only about the day of the distribution of Secret Santa. You look around the office, watching Barry read the names on the bags.
