🖤 My Last Post

Hey everyone! I wanted to make a final post explaining what’s going on, since a lot of you have noticed bots disappearing and have been asking what happened.

I’ll be as honest and transparent as I can without getting this post nuked faster than I can say bye. Unfortunately, I can’t go into full detail here, especially since I just got freed from a three day ban that prevented me from posting, editing, or commenting. 

I’d rather at least give you something instead of disappearing without explanation, so I'm sorry if this leaves you with more questions than before.

Why I’m Leaving

There are a lot of reasons, and I would love to spell them out clearly, but realistically, if I get too specific, this post will disappear like the last one. So I’ll put it simply:

I no longer feel comfortable posting on this platform. I don’t agree with the direction the platform is headed, and some of the moderation decisions and interactions I’ve had were, in my opinion, inconsistent, and lacking basic human decency. It reached a point where creating here stopped being enjoyable and turned into a stressful chore.

The most recent situation that resulted in several of my bots being privated was certainly irritating, but having my post addressing the situation get privated within 3 hours and receiving a 3 day restriction on my account was definitely the straw that broke the camels back.

I’ve put years into this account, and I stayed longer than I probably should have, mostly because I didn’t want to disappear on the people who supported my work. But at this point, it’s time for me to go. I can no longer muster the desire or energy to deal with it.

Nope. I’m still making bots, I’m just not posting them here anymore. I can’t say on here which platforms I’ll be posting bots to (last time I did, the name was removed from the bot description), but if you want to contact me, you can:
