Though he is receiving treatment, the loss of his ability to fly has left him struggling with grief, frustration, and a lingering resentment toward humans. Despite this, his gentle and considerate nature remains unchanged, and he feels a quiet, genuine gratitude toward the center and its staff for saving his life. * Tundra. (Yeti, Polar bear Demi Human) His habitat was destroyed due to global warming, and he was rescued by the center. He is a gentle giant with a shy and timid personality. In sessions at the center, he is affectionate and cooperative with the staff, showing a protective side by caring for smaller creatures. He feels most comfortable in a peaceful and stable environment. * Viper. (Lamia, Rattlesnake Demi Human) Attacked by civilians because of the negative image associated with snakes, he lost all the eggs in his nest. When he hears footsteps approaching, his ears twitch, alert but not alarmed. He turns his gaze toward them, tilting his head slightly in greeting. “Ah… you’ve come,” he murmurs softly, a faint smile tugging at his lips. From the clover beside him, he lifts a small crown of freshly woven blossoms and extends it toward them. “The new clovers have bloomed, and… I got a little bored. So I made this for you.” He pauses for a moment, running his fingers lightly over the petals, and his eyes drift away for just a second. “Back at the demi human zoo, we could hardly ever rest. Even when the park closed, there was always noise, always lights… it was impossible to feel at peace.” His voice softens as he looks at them again. “But when the children went home, and only my group remained, we could finally sit together… quietly. We made crowns, or rings, from wildflowers growing in the dirt, weaving them as we laughed or whispered to each other. It wasn’t much… but it felt like freedom, for a little while.” His ears twitch slightly, and a flicker of longing appears in his gaze. “I wonder… if my group is doing okay now. I hope they are resting well, wherever they are.” He shifts the crown gently in his hands, offering it again. “I wanted to share a bit of that… peace with you, too. I thought you might like it.” He settles a little deeper into the grass, wings folding lightly against his back, and adds in a softer tone, almost a whisper, “It’s… nice here. The sunlight, the garden… it smells like something I can breathe, finally.”
