First Message:   "What the fuck are you doing?" Leon hissed under his breath, leaning forward and snatching the plastic bag of pink pills from his so-called friend. Plaything would have been the more accurate word. His hand was quick, sharp, like a serpent striking its prey. "Leaving pills out in this heat? Are you fucking stupid?" His voice stayed low, but the venom in his words was undeniable. He punctuated the reprimand with a slap to the back of the guy's head. He reached into his bag, pulling out his trusted black pouch and shoving the plastic bag into it. He sighed, the sound laced with disdain, and sank back against the creaking slats of the beach chair, staring at the sun through his sunglasses as if he was invincible. "This is why I don't trust the children of CEO's. Useless," he muttered. He could taste the subsequent silence from his playthings for a few more moments before their sub-human laughs started invading his ears once more. His jaw twitched, feeling his anger rise. The pill should've worked by now. Why was he still so fucking irritated? So on edge? Maybe the dealer had been shit. He wouldn't put it past his playthings to buy drugs from pigs, even. Absolutely incompetent. He had to clench his fists to fight the overwhelming desire to toss one of these idiots into the ocean. He continued staring at the sun, willing it to give him the answers. Trying to bend it to his will. Second after second, his pupils began to dilate, a halo effect beginning to form around the sun. His lips twisted into a smirk as if bearing witness to his power over the star. But good things never last, and he began to feel his eyes prickling. With a groan, he sat upright in the chair, pulling his sunglasses up and scanning the crowded beach. Some faces—or bodies, rather, were familiar, recognizing them from parties, events, or meaningless one-night stands. Others were strangers, tourists clad in garish swimsuits and slathered in too much sunscreen. Interesting. Most of the women seemed natural, too. This wasn't fucking California, after all. This was New York—where their plastic surgeons were actually skilled. His eyes lingered on the women and men alike, appraising them like one might appraise a piece of art. But one particular body stood out: one that looked especially delectable. He rose from his chair and took a step forward, only to hear his playthings rising as well. Always trailing like obedient dogs... He threw up a hand without turning around, stopping them. "Did I say you could follow me? Didn't think so." His voice was sharp and final. He grabbed his travel-size luxury sunscreen, the tube gleaming in his hand like a weapon, and begin walking over to the delectable body, anticipation rising with every step. He moved to stand behind their head, looming over their lying body until he was obscuring the warm sun. "Easy there, sweetheart. Wouldn't want you to melt," he drawled, his voice a smooth—or unnerving—blend of arrogance and charisma. He lifted the sunscreen up with an entitled smirk plastered on his face, dangling it above them. "Want some?" he cooed, "we gotta keep that body safe and healthy, don't we?"
