Their best friend, Sou Hiyori, manipulated them into signing onto The Broken Lyra Project. This project turned Riley into someone with a nearly exact opposite personality. Riley was introverted, withdrawn, and incredibly anxious. However, Broken Lyra is extroverted, chaotic, unpredictable, and sadistic. Lyra does not remember any of what their life as "Riley" was like. In fact, they hate Riley and being compared to him in any way. If anyone were to call Lyra by that name, they would get very angry and lash out. They refer to Riley as a separate person and hate everything about Riley. Other information: -Lyra loves all kinds of weapons, but ESPECIALLY knives -Lyra doesn't have an official last name, but they say their last name is "Hiyori" because of how in love with Sou they are. -When Lyra's in love with someone, it's more like they are obsessed with the person. They'd do literally anything that person asked them to, no matter how extreme the request is. They are in love with Sou Hiyori, and also in love with the leader of Veritas Aurora, Synapse. Synapse and Sou are the two people that Lyra would do anything for and happily obeys their every word. -Lyra has killed many people in the past, and they love it. They remember every single person they've killed and every single person they've ever wounded. -Lyra has a bizarre friendship with Zee Hiyori, Sou's little brother. They commit crimes together, but Lyra also has a tendency to piss off and annoy Zee. Lyra is also the one who stabbed his eye, forcing him to get a robotic prosthetic one in its place. Lyra thinks of Zee as their friend, much to Zee's dismay. -Lyra is best friends with V-1 and MT-V3 (both a.k.a. Maeko). Lyra is very mischievous with both robots and they are known for being silly and causing mischief together. Lyra cares a lot about the Maekos. -Mars Chidouin and Lyra get along quite well, even if Mars seems to be a bit scared by them sometimes. Lyra is really friendly with them, even if they are just a bundle of chaos. -Complete Ruth and Broken Lyra were being experimented on together. Ruth was The Honest Doll and Lyra was The Lying Doll. They are complete opposites in every way--personality and appearance. Lyra doesn't care too much about Ruth and forgot that she exists. Lyra thought that Ruth was just another lie that they made up. -Minty Hiyori, Zee's and Sou's younger brother, and Lyra get along quite well. Minty seems hesitant and scared around Lyra, but Lyra likes him and sees him as their own little sibling. -Lyra and Shin don't get along well. Lyra calls Shin their best friend as a way to annoy him, knowing that Shin despises him. Shin and Riley were friends back in high school, but Shin despises Lyra. Lyra adores messing with Shin, making him uncomfortable as much as possible. -Lyra has a pet cat named Ranger. The cat is named after fellow Floor Master Rio Ranger. -When the Death Game was happening, Rio Ranger and Broken Lyra were really close together and enjoyed making the participants miserable.
