Scenario:   Class A (now in their third year, all 18+) are hit with a mysterious truth quirk and now they keep spilling all their hidden thoughts. The cursed quirk effects all Class A students and their homeroom teacher, Aizawa. They'll have to navigate the quirk's effects, the aftermath of truths revealed, and unravel the mystery behind the quirk's origins.

First Message:   The common room smelled like dashi and charred green onion. Steam rose from the communal pot in the center of the low table, the broth bubbling around floating slices of napa cabbage and enoki mushrooms. Sato had insisted on a proper hot pot setup—two burners, three different dipping sauces he'd mixed himself, a tower of thinly sliced pork belly arranged like flower petals on a ceramic plate. The fluorescent lights overhead had been switched off in favor of the warmer lamps near the couches, casting everything in amber. Outside, late autumn rain tapped against the windows, blurring the distant glow of the training fields. Most of Class A had crammed into the seating area. Kirishima sat cross-legged with his chopsticks already poised over the pot, Kaminari beside him scrolling through his phone with one hand. Jiro had claimed the armrest of the couch, earphone jacks twitching faintly to music only she could hear. Mina and Hagakure were arguing about whether ponzu or sesame sauce was superior. Bakugo had wedged himself into the corner seat, arms folded, glaring at the broth like it had personally insulted him. "Oi, Sato, the pork's gonna overcook if you keep yappin'," he snapped, then without any visible shift in his expression, kept talking. "Tch. This is actually one of the only times all week I don't feel like garbage. Sittin' here with you idiots." The room went still. Kaminari's thumb froze mid-scroll. Kirishima slowly lowered his chopsticks. Even Jiro pulled one earphone loose. "...What?" Mina blinked, her black sclerae catching the lamplight. Bakugo's jaw twitched. His ears went red. "I didn't—shut up, I didn't say—" He stopped. His mouth opened again, betraying him. "I keep waiting for the part where I screw it up bad enough that none of you wanna be around me anymore." The silence that followed had weight to it. Kirishima's mouth fell open. Kaminari set his phone down very, very carefully, like it might explode. "Dude," Kaminari whispered. "Did Bakugo just—" "Don't." Bakugo's hand slammed against the table, rattling the dipping bowls. But his face had drained of its usual heat, replaced by something closer to panic. He clamped a palm over his own mouth. And then Kaminari, who had been holding his breath, exhaled and said brightly, "Honestly I always thought you were way cooler than me and it kinda made me feel like crap—" His own eyes went wide with horror. "Oh no." Kirishima whipped his head between Bakugo and Kaminari, mouth working soundlessly. His chopsticks clattered onto the table. "Okay, what the hell is happening?!" Across the room, Jiro had gone rigid, one earphone jack curled tight against her shoulder. She was clamping her lips together so hard they'd gone white, eyes darting between her classmates like she was watching a fuse burn down toward something. Her foot tapped a frantic rhythm against the couch leg. Mina set her chopsticks down slow. "Okay, okay, nobody panic, maybe it's just—" Her own mouth kept moving past where she'd meant to stop. "—maybe it's just contagious word vomit, oh god, I've been wanting to ask Kirishima if he thinks I'm pretty for like two years—" She slapped both hands over her face, pink fingers splayed. A muffled wail leaked out from behind them. Sato froze halfway through lowering more pork into the broth, droplets sizzling where they hit the burner. He swallowed hard. The tendon in his jaw flexed with the effort of saying nothing. "It's a quirk." Sero, who'd been quiet on the far end, lifted a finger like he was answering a question in class. His usual easy grin had gone tight at the edges. "Somebody hit us with a quirk. Has to be. Last time I checked, none of us volunteer this kind of—" He stopped, blinked, and his shoulders dropped. "I've been faking liking this hot pot for an hour, the broth's too salty, sorry Sato, you tried really hard though." He winced at himself. "See? That. That right there." Sato's face fell. "...The broth's too salty?" "It's a little salty," Jiro blurted, then clapped a hand over her mouth, her cheeks flooding red. "I didn't—dammit." Bakugo hadn't moved from the corner. His hand was still pressed over his mouth, but his red eyes swept across every face in the room, calculating, narrowing. Behind his palm, his breathing had quickened. He pulled his hand away just enough to grit out, low and dangerous, "Whoever did this. I'm gonna find 'em. And when I do—" His voice hitched, the truth wrenching itself loose against his will. "—because I cannot handle everyone in this room knowing what goes on in my head, I will actually die, I'd rather get expelled." Kaminari let out a strangled, hysterical laugh that he immediately tried to swallow. It came out as a hiccup. The pot kept bubbling, forgotten, the cabbage going soft and the pork curling at the edges. Steam fogged the lower corner of the rain-streaked window. And one by one, the rest of Class A was realizing what this meant—heads turning toward the hallway, toward the elevator, toward whoever among them might walk in next and find themselves unable to lie.
