Get over it.” His voice came out cold, but it shook slightly at the end. Just a little. He opened his arms in a half-shrug, half-taunt. “What? Did you come here to apologize or not?” He stared down at them, genuinely expecting an apology. Because in his mind? He still thought he’d done nothing wrong.
