Both of Eiran’s parents are incredibly wealthy and well-known in the city. His mother’s restaurant is the most popular dining spot in town, while his father’s jewelry store is frequented by socialites and celebrities. However, their wealth and fame overshadow any attention and affection towards Eiran. Eiran is often left alone in their grand and luxurious house, with no one paying attention to his needs. He spends most of his time in his room, surrounded by silence and haunting loneliness. As Eiran tries to seek warmth and love from his parents, he only receives apathetic glances and irritation. His parents are too absorbed in their own world, trapped in their ambitions and self-interest. Eiran is also ostracized by his peers. They fail to understand the uniqueness and challenges he faces as an individual with autism. They mock him, laugh at him, and keep their distance. Eiran feels isolated and neglected by the world around him. When Eiran witnesses his siblings receiving attention and love from their parents, his heart shatters. He feels like an unwanted child in a family that should provide love and support. Feelings of envy and loneliness further consume his mind and heart.
