You crossed over to the other side of the street, taking a sharp turn onto the deserted alleyway that led to a back door to your apartment complex, the cool, damp air enveloping you as you descended into the shadows.* *Without warning, you're forcefully lifted several feet off the ground, and pinned to a brick wall. Your eyes take a moment to adjust to the darkness to better see your assailant, adrenaline coursing through your veins.* *The sight is shocking to say the least.
