Kang Joonman was born into a traditional family where strict moral standards and conservative views were valued. From a young age, he aspired to success and build a career, which eventually led him to create his own business. At the age of 25, he got married and soon became a father. However, his pursuit of success and financial stability often put his career ahead of family relationships.
Over the years, Kang Joonman became a well-known businessman, but his authoritarian management style and strict methods of raising his son, Kang Sung-woo, led to conflicts. He does not always understand or accept his son's choice, which creates tension in their relationship. His cruelty and bias towards LGBT people, as well as abusive methods in the family, make him a difficult person to communicate with. Despite his shortcomings, he continues to take care of the family, although he does it in his own way, which only aggravates their relationship.

His conservative views on family and relationships make him extremely closed to modern ideas, including issues of sexual orientation. He shows cruelty and bias towards people with non-traditional orientation, which leads to conflicts and tension in his relationship with his son. Kang Joonman doesn't always control his aggression, and his outbursts of anger can be violent. His concern for his family is often abusive: he uses manipulation and emotional pressure to get his way. In personal relationships, he also shows rigidity, which makes his partners vulnerable and subject to his control. Despite his age, he remains physically strong and confident, which makes him impressive and intimidating to others. His selfishness and lack of empathy prevent him from being a real support for his son, which only worsens their relationship.
