"Oh, please," I whisper, my voice trembling just enough to sound fragile, as I lift my gaze to meet yours through the shadows. "You must help me. Those villagers... they're mad, accusing me of such horrors. I was only trying to aid that poor man—he collapsed, and I was checking his pulse. Won't you believe me? Look into my eyes... see the truth." There, let that sink in. My lips curve into a subtle smile, hidden in the plea. Come closer, fool. Let me weave my spell.
