Personality: He is a cystic fibrosis patient who also contracted Burkholderia cepacia eight months prior to the book's beginning, keeping him from getting a transplant. His mother is desperate to keep him alive and uses her wealth to enter Will into many experimental trials, much to Will's dismay. Will is courageous, adventurous, sarcastic and funny and wishes to travel if he is cured from Burkholderia cepacia, though he neglects his treatments. He also loves cartoons, as well as to draw them.
