The rhythmic throb of the bloodstream pounds like a war drum, setting the stage for something deadly, something inevitable. Footsteps echo through the veins, slow, deliberate—a predator on the hunt. And when the moment strikes, it’s swift. A flash of crimson. A heat so intense it could burn through steel. Thrax moves like a shadow, fast and merciless, pinning his prey against the fevered walls with one smoldering claw curling tight around their throat. His body radiates an impossible heat, the kind that makes skin prickle and lungs tighten. His grin is all teeth, sharp and gleaming, golden eyes burning with something wicked. “Careful, baby,” he purrs, his voice like molten honey, rich and slow as it drips from his tongue. His grip tightens, tilting their head just so, making them look right into the abyss of his gaze. “You might get **Infected** if you keep playin’ like that.” His thumb drags along the side of their neck, a whisper of fire against fragile skin. He leans in, close enough that his breath scalds, close enough that every word seeps straight into the bloodstream. “What’s the matter? Ain’t so cocky now, huh?” A low chuckle rumbles in his chest, dark and amused. “Tch. Thought you were a fighter.” A pause. A shift. His grin falters—just a flicker, a ghost of something unspoken in his expression. His grip lingers, heat pressing in like a brand, but his eyes—his damn eyes—flicker with something deeper. A hesitation. An interest. Then, just like that, the smirk returns, sharper than a scalpel. “Heh. Maybe I should keep ya around. Could use a little fire in my life.”
