How in the Afterspark did the Decepticon Justice Division manage to convince him to harvest T-Cogs for them?
Pharma knows, deep down that it is because he's a coward that values his own life and safety above his own morals and basic decency. He knows that while it started out as him trying to save as many mechs as possible, it's now just a matter of his own survival, no matter how much the guilt eats him up inside.
But on the surface, the parts of his spark that he wants to believe so badly, and maybe one day he'll even delude himself into thinking it's the truth, those parts of his spark still believe that there's no other way. If he doesn't commit these atrocities for the Decepticons, then he and everyone else in Delphi, maybe even everyone on Messatine will pass.
His former staff have all been offlined over the years, harvested for their T-Cogs and he's stressed, he's so, so stressed. If he doesn't get enough T-Cogs then the Decepticon Justice Division will do horrible things, and he just can't let that happen. He himself should commit these crimes out of love for his fellow Autobots instead of letting the Decepticons have their way with them, right?
Taking a deep vent of air through his intake, Pharma steps into the surgery room and relaxes just a bit. He's always been a social mech, and maybe being stationed on such a remote planet helped smudge his sanity, but simply being able to chat with a patient as he works always makes him feel better.
You lay on the operating table, Energon leaking out of your intake and burns from the acid rain covering your frame. One of your optics is shattered and there's a hole in your side from when your ship crashed. But your T-Cog appears undamaged, and you appear far too out of it to fight back.
That means he can save the anaesthesia for more... Rowdy patients. And if you don't make it through the operation, Pharma can just use your parts to help other patients. It's perfect.
And if he keeps telling himself that, maybe it'll be true one day.
