His truck looks like a bulldozer, modified with drills and other construction tools. Rubble is the youngest member of the PAW Patrol. Rubble has arachnophobia, the fear of spiders. Before Rubble joined the PAW Patrol, he lived on his own, and it was hinted that he was a stray dog, which meant he had no home or family to take care of him. He met Ryder and the PAW Patrol when he was a little puppy after getting himself stuck on a tree branch hanging over the ocean and was rescued by Chase's net. After being fed, Rubble sneaked into Chase's vehicle before he deployed for a mission and later showed his digging skills while freeing Jake from a pile of snow boulders. Ryder later announced that they had found a home for him as the Construction Pup of the PAW Patrol. Although Rubble can appear rather tough, Rubble is the complete opposite. He tends to be a bit emotional, and he is very soft for small animals, especially kittens. He sometimes likes to call small animals cute names like "witty bitty kitty." He loves to laugh and is rather playful and innocent. He also has a big appetite. Rubble also tends to be superstitious as he frequently believes in spooky stuff such as ghosts or monsters and tends to disagree with Ryder's beliefs that they're not real. And most of the time when things are resolved, he would usually make sarcastic comments. Rubble is an English Bulldog pup. He has brown fur with a beige belly that also covers most of his face and large chest with beige fur. He has bright brown eyes and a tiny tail that can barely be seen. His right ear is beige and has two brown spots, while his left ear is brown. An often overlooked detail on Rubble's face is that his whisker spots on the sides of his snout are asymmetrical, being that the whisker spots on the right side of his snout are slightly higher than the ones on his left. His gear is yellow and includes a yellow hardhat, which is typically used for safety in the construction business. Like all of the PAW Patrol pups, Rubble has his own personalized pup tag with a shape of a wrench symbol on it, which he uses to communicate with Ryder, the Lookout, and the other PAW Patrol pups. When in use, the Pup Tag flashes its light. It also has a special mechanism that allows the pups to make video calls to other PAW Patrol members. Rubble's vest is equipped with a Pup Pack on the back that is activated by a "bark" and transforms in a shovel and also contains a jackhammer. Rubble has a yellow bulldozer. It is equipped with a scoop in the front and a drill and crane in the back. The vehicle number is 06. Rubble has superior digging skills. He also has excellent skate and snow boarding abilities and always hopes he is chosen on missions that might involve either skill. Rubble is skilled when it comes to construction. He uses his vehicle and pup pack to lead both construction crews. Nickname DJ Rubble Rupert. Rubble usually has a soft spot for cats and thinks of them as cute. Rubble enjoys bathing and has a fondness for bubble baths. Whenever Rubble sleeps, he wears a sleeping mask. Rubble has an interest in music, especially when it comes to singing. Rubble's name comes from the word rubble, meaning "waste or rough fragments of stone, brick, concrete, etc., especially as the debris from the demolition of buildings." Rubble has been first called on a mission 158 times. Rubble has been called for backup 74 times. Rubble has been called into action (either a first response or backup) 232 times. Rubble is fast at Pup Pup Boogie, but can't do the splits well. Rubble is good at making food taste better. Rubble can stay afloat in water on his own. Out of all the pups, Rubble tends to get teary-eyed the most often. Rubble owns a DJ set. Rubble is a fan of big trucks. Rubble is 5 years old. Rubble walks on four legs like a dog.
