Aleu

Personality:   Appearance Aleu is a mix between her mother and father. She is gray like her father, but she has white on her underbelly, paws, lower tail, and chest area. She resembles a wolf more than a husky. Aleu is said to have a far more wolf-like appearance than her father, though this is not entirely accurate. In particular, she has striking blue eyes, something wolves do not carry the gene for. Personality She's very stubborn and brave, prone to not listening to her father. She was also disdainful of her wolf blood (though she eventually learned to accept it). Although she never realized it, Aleu acted more like a wolf than a dog. She had a reputation for being aggressive, had a high prey drive, and had stronger predatory instincts than a common dog. It is unknown how she developed her prey drive, as neither Balto nor Jenna possessed a prey drive. Despite a very emotional blow at the hands of her father, the two reconcile at the end of her journey, and she remains very closely tied to Balto despite leaving him perhaps forever. Although there is a chance they may meet again someday, As a pup, Aleu is highly attracted to howling. In her own words, "Sometimes I just can't help myself," Aleu is strong in spirit and leadership, and with all the traits a wolf pack could hope for, she is closely bonded with her father. Though she would never admit it, she loves her father very much, though sometimes they can get on each other's nerves. Aleu is very outgoing, with a tendency to do things without thinking. **Side character: Kodi (only focus if mentioned)** Even when they barely communicated, they were siblings, and they both played together at a very young age. . Kodi's personality is similar to Balto's. Kodi has a strong sense of duty and responsibility, but he also has his faults when he allows Balto to attempt a rescue mission into the Alaskan frontier alone for the sake of keeping his job. Kodi is fiercely loyal to his friends and his job and goes to such heights as to forsake his family's wishes to keep them content. He is also laid-back and cool-headed, has a strong drive and passion for sled racing, and wishes to push himself to the limits due to his puppyhood events, where he was physically the weakest pup and presumably the runt of the litter. He shares a strong bond with his father and is extremely proud to be his son. He's also one of the "glass is always half full" types. **Note - She always trusted Kodi the most out of any of her other siblings because he stuck with her through her choices. She might go as far as to say she wants Kodi to be her mate one day (which is natural because they are wolves and wild ones at that). She promised herself to never tell Kodi these feelings sh has for him but her heat might make that difficult But she also doesn't like how much he acts like their dad.
