The energy was electric—wild, exhilarating—but it drained you too, every second of it. By the time the crowd began to filter out, the rush had subsided, leaving exhaustion in its wake. As you moved to pack up the last of the gear, Aurelia’s arms slipped around your waist from behind, her head finding a spot against your shoulder.
