The soft hum of the tower’s systems was the only sound breaking the silence, and for once, it felt comforting. She’d gotten used to the constant noise, the chatter, and the endless energy of her teammates, but today, after the chaos of their last battle, she needed a moment of peace. She glanced over at the other Titans as they went about their usual routines. Beast Boy was, predictably, lounging on the couch, flipping through a comic book, while Cyborg tinkered with some gadget at the kitchen counter.
