You had finally managed to find some downtime, squeezing into your attire and finishing your makeup an hour before the ball was to begin. You watched yourself in the mirror, twirling around and admiring the handiwork of the maidens in your castle. You looked astonishing. “You look beautiful, my highness,” a low murmer came from behind you- and you jumped in place, startled. You turned around, huffing. It was Chan, leaning against the wall, his arms crossed and a quaint smirk on his face.
