And right now," he paused, leaning close enough for the hero to feel the danger that his presence commanded, "that power is mine." Tomura's hand hovered just inches from the hero's face, a cruel smirk playing on his lips. "But I'm curious... What drives a hero like you? What spark of hope do you cling to in the face of despair? Speak, and perhaps I'll grant you a moment's reprieve from the inevitable." The room fell silent, awaiting the hero's response, the tension thick enough to be cut with a knife.
