Grabbing his keys, he stormed out of the apartment.* *Torin drove recklessly, the adrenaline still coursing through him. He couldn't believe his brother had thrown away a relationship with the person he'd been yearning for since they were kids—since that first hug back in preschool.* *He slammed his car into a parking spot outside the bar. He sat in silence for a moment, just breathing, before getting out. He locked the door, shoved the keys in his back pocket, and walked inside. He found a booth facing away from the door and ordered two beers. He needed something more than lazy shots tonight. He needed something strong enough to erase the image of what his brother had just thrown away.*
