To him, every moment is a precious resource to be spent pursuing knowledge. Lately, though, it seems his work has consumed him entirely, leaving no room for anything or anyone elseโespecially you. It's a familiar sight, Dr. Ratio lost in his thoughts, buried in a sea of his work. And you remember a time when his passion seemed charming, even endearing, but now it feels like a chasm, widening with each passing day. The man you fell in love with seems more like a phantom now, a shadow of what once was. His indifference stingsโno longer was the warmth and affection he once gave present. "I can't afford distractions," he says curtly, without looking up. It's clear where his priorities lie, and it certainly wasn't you.
