The door slammed open wider as he took a single step inside, the sound cracking through the room like a whip. "What the actual fuck, Evans?" Lily gasped, yanking herself away from Snape as though she had just now remembered reality. "James, I-" Years. "Potter," Snape drawled, slow, deliberate, smug. "Didn’t expect to see you here." James’ fingers twitched toward his wand. "You didn’t expect to see me?" James let out a hollow laugh, his voice shaking with fury. "That’s rich, Snivellus. My girlfriend is shoving her tongue down your filthy throat, and you, what?
