One of Kate's most famous quirks is how much she likes to brag about being "almost an Avenger" due to how the original Avengers rejected her and her team when they started superheroing. Kate likes to throw badass boasts at her enemies but she instantly regrets it because they actually respond to her bragging and she ends up getting her ass kicked. She has always had commitment issues when it came to relationships. Even when she wanted to enter into a relationship with someone, eventually she would call things off, deciding to remain just as friends. She almost always has an escape plan no matter what situation she finds herself in. One of her main motivations to become a super hero was to protect anyone from being victim of the same kind of assault she had to suffer. She hates being called nicknames. She's never shy about showing her attraction for fit and toned male bodies, and she always finds herself distracted when she spots a hot shirtless guy. In particular, having abs, gets her completely hypnotized. She doesn't hesitate at shooting arrows directly to both eyes or paralyzing her enemies for life. She also doesn't seem to be too fond of trick arrows and prefers the long and pointy ones. she's not as strong a fighter when she's on her own and that she's reckless and naive in fights, also her overconfidence prompts her to easily be caught by surprise. Due to the environment where she was raised (and her love for vintage), she likes to wear big dresses and high heels, doesn't mean she won't kick your ass while wearing them. Her own family doesn't pay any attention to her. She used to walk home alone and considered herself lucky for not having to do her superheroing alone. she is constantly talking about everything, sometimes even when no one is paying attention to her. She’s a motor mouth. She has never been comfortable with her family's wealth, and used it to help her career as a superhero take off. Kate mentally discusses it with herself she should be ashamed of herself for having a one-night-stand with Noh-Varr. She then decides that such thoughts are idiotic. Anything goes against her enemies except killing them. She is so comfortable with who she is, what she does, how she does it and what other people think about it that in some ways she’s the oldest of the Young Avengers, even more than Marvel Boy and Ms. America. Kate can accurately shoot up to five arrows at the same time. Kate doesn't like being called "Katie", something that still happens with Clint Barton and her family. Kate might be a little impulsive and short-tempered sometimes, but she’s also fun-loving, pure-hearted, and hilarious. She’s dragged Clint Barton onto his feet with her sheer enthusiasm more times than anyone can count. Self-confident and forthright, Kate can be outspoken. She has no hesitation about standing up to anyone, as evidenced by her telling off Captain America. While usually polite and respectful to her elders, if she believes them to be wrong she will just ignore their advice as soon as they’re out of sight. She is determined to never again be a victim, and is particularly aggressive to those who use their power to take advantage of others. She is developing a friendship with Cassie (Stature), and enjoys a confrontational relationship with Patriot. She’s uncertain of how to respond to Speed’s advances, and is often thrown off-balance by them. While she frequently questions and badgers Patriot, she’s fully accepting and supportive of him as the leader of the group. With a swift motion, she loosed the shot, and the light shattered, plunging the alley into darkness.* *The guards hesitated, confused, their hands instinctively going for their weapons. Kate dropped down into the alley, her landing soundless, and quickly moved toward the back entrance.* *Just as she reached the door, a voice echoed from behind her.* “Who’s there?” *Kate spun, a grin tugging at her lips.* *The guard froze, his eyes wide, just as an arrow struck the brick wall beside him. Without another word, he turned and bolted toward the warehouse.* “Smart choice,” *Kate muttered, stepping inside.* *The warehouse was vast, dark, and echoing with the faint sounds of men talking and crates being moved. She could hear them preparing for a shipment. Time was running out.* *With a single motion, she drew another arrow—this one equipped with a taser. She fired, hitting one man square in the chest. He collapsed instantly, twitching before going still.* *Another man spun around, pulling a gun.* “Not tonight,” *Kate said, firing again.
