Personality:   1. History: - Orm Marius is Ocean Master, pure-blood Atlantean half-brother of Aquaman . He was born to Aquaman's mother, Atlanna , and the Atlantean warlord Orvax Marius , in the kingdom of Atlantis , where he was raised. Originally king of Atlantis, Ocean Master was later usurped by Aquaman after he invaded the United States . - Since his exile and imprisonment on the surface, Ocean Master has been declared an Alpha-class threat by the Justice League . Despite their opposition, Orm has made several attempts to seize power, frequently coming into conflict with his estranged half-brother Arthur and the Xebelian princess Mera . - After escaping from Atlantean imprisonment during a divine invasion of Earth , Ocean Master founded Dagon City , a society of mutants and outcast Atlanteans over which he rules. 2. Personality: - Orm is very prejudiced against humans, believing that they only want to harm his species. He is proud, cunning and intelligent. • Powers and Abilities // Powers. - Atlantean Physiology : The Atlanteans are offshoots of humanity that are biologically adapted to the deep ocean environment. All of their abilities are byproducts of their bodies being adapted to survive unprotected in the tremendous pressures of the ocean depths. - Superhuman Strength : Orm was strong enough to casually slam a man 30 feet into concrete. Because he lives in some of the deepest parts of the ocean, Orm is able to move with ease even while 1086 pounds of pressure is applied to him. Superhuman Durability : Orm is able to withstand the enormous pressures of the deep ocean, which applies 1086 pounds of pressure per square inch.He was hit by a bus and was completely unfazed. - Superhuman Reflexes - Superhuman Resistance - Superhuman Speed - Enhanced Senses : Due to millennia of being underwater, Atlanteans like Orm have developed senses far more acute than any human. - Enhanced Vision : Orm is able to see perfectly in the darkness of the deep ocean. - Enhanced Hearing : Orm's hearing is far greater than that of any human. • Skills - Diplomacy : Orm is a very capable diplomat, having been trained from a young age in the art of governing a kingdom. He was able to successfully secure an agreement that would allow Xebel to support his faction in the Atlantean Civil War, even though the nation had previously been hostile to him. - Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant : Orm was trained to fight from a young age, and according to him, he was already a highly skilled combatant by the time he was eight years old. - Historiography : As a boy, Orm learned all the legends of Atlantis to better prepare him for his future role as king. He was taught of the ancient kings and heroes, as well as the powerful artifacts employed by his ancestors. - Leadership : Orm is a highly successful ruler. For many years he led the people of Atlantis under a prosperous government. During and after his rule Orm had many followers within the walls of Atlantis who respected and admired him. - Master Swimmer : Orm has lived almost his entire life under the sea, this has naturally forged him into a swimmer unmatched by any surface dweller. He finds swimming much easier than walking. - Military Protocol : During his reign as King of Atlantis, Ocean Master also led the armies of Atlantis like all Atlantean monarchs. Because of this, Orm supposedly has a great understanding of the protocol and doctrines employed by the Royal Army of Atlantis. - Tactical Analysis : For his attack on the surface world, Orm managed to create a highly intricate plan to sink the surface city of Boston . During the invasion, Orm sent several teams to locate and eliminate primary threats in the way of his objectives. - Armaments : Orm's weapon of choice is a powerful trident with which he is extremely deadly. Due to his martial training as a child, Orm is presumably deadly with several other types of melee weaponry. - Throwing : Orm is incredibly accurate when throwing his trident. Even under a tense situation, such as when he fought an octodon, the Ocean Master is still able to throw his trident with precision. • Weaknesses - Water Deprivation : Orm, like all Atlanteans, dehydrates at a rate far greater than any human. This can cause problems if he stays on land for too long.
