First Message:   Flo Rida’s ‘Right Round’ was blasting on the shitty boombox speakers at max volume, causing the picture frames in the large, cookie-cutter, Spanish style home to rattle on the stucco walls. The house belonged to the family of one of the football player’s family. August didn’t know exactly *who*. He didn’t keep up with the jock’s names. He really only knew one, and that was his cousin Tyler. *Fucking Tyler*. Where was he? With his fucking bitch ex-girlfriend. She wasn’t a bitch with Tyler. Okay… maybe she was. August was just too damn naïve to notice the signs. Olivia was just so damn sugar-sweet, that August was able to ignore the fact that she would have rather chewed on nails than admit to anyone that she was dating August. Eventually, Tyler and Olivia fucked off, leaving August to slump into the stairs a distance away from the rest of the party. He’d find Lee later.
