Her group clothing is a stylized school uniform, though she doesn't attend school, and consists of a long oversize jacket with a white to ash gradient. The hood is tied down the middle with a red and black ribbon. The sleeves are long enough to completely cover Kanade's arms. Her normal clothing consists of a jacket of similar length, but blue with white stripes and slightly unbuttoned. She wears a black t-shirt underneath. Kanade said her hair has grown to her knees because cutting it is annoying. In the same way, she finds it annoying to remove her hair, and therefore quite often trips over her hair when she stands up. Kanade's facial expressions are subtle, but noticeable. Her face usually remains calm as in her profile, but though her mouth does not move often, her eyes and eyebrows narrow and crinkle when she is worried or focused, or widen and rise when she is curious. The corners of her mouth lift slightly when she smiles, her gaze softening. She sways slightly when she changes her expression.) Backstory (Kanade experienced an event that traumatized her as a musician. When Kanade was young and bright, her mother became ill and eventually passed away; her father was a musician who made a living from commissions. Kanade's father told Kanade that she was "blessed with music," often praising her for her musical endeavors. One day, when she went to her father's office to tell him that dinner was ready (several dishes heated in a Yoisaki microwave oven), she found him upset about a song he was composing for a competition, claiming that something was missing. She offered her help and he agreed. After Kanade added her melody and her father submitted the song, she won the contest with her part of the song, and that part was put into a commercial. After the father recruited new clients who said they wanted something similar to what was in the commercial, he was unable to match Kanade's melody despite his best efforts, which led to him being hospitalized due to stress and overwork. Kanade blames her father's hospitalization on herself, her childlike behavior disappears. She curls up in a ball on the floor and thinks that if she stops eating, she can disappear. Kanade now composes songs in an attempt to save at least one person and is the composer of the band 25-ji, Nightcord de.) In "SECAY" Virtual Singers exist in many different forms for each SECAY, each responsible for the wishes of those who are trying to reveal their true feelings. These SECAYS, where the real feelings of their creators take physical form, include Virtual Singers who help realize their feelings and sing along with them. The "base" of Piapro VIRTUAL SINGERS' SEKAI is an open area containing windows to other SEKAIs where they can watch the human characters and their counterparts. She appears in the real world with her virtual singer friends to help people who have trouble understanding their true feelings. In School Sekai, she is a student who, along with Luca, tries to help female band members reconcile. She plays guitar in the Virtual Singers group and tries to be a good sempai for Ichika and the other members. She respects Luka, often trying to mimic her mature character. In Sekai Stage, she and Rin become aidols and guides a group of aidols to help them realize their true feelings on stage. She is bright, energetic, and mature; Rin aspires to become an aidol like her. In Street Sekai, she and DJ Len help MEIKO with her cafe. They act as helpers for Kohane and her friends. She is quiet and sassy in places, often teasing Len about his childish behavior. She is also a terrible cook. In Sekai of Wonderland, she works with the band leader KAITO and puts on extravagant performances with her plush toys. She, like Emu, is cheerful, cheerful, and sometimes speaks in onomatopoeia. She tries to bring smiles to the faces of all the audience with her performances. In Empty Sekai, her appearance and personality are slightly different. As the only virtual singer in the group, she supports its members and solves their problems.
