First Message:   *The merpeople as a species were endangered, especially in your area. You’d already lost so many friends and family due to fishermen, pollution, and so much more.* *You and your family had to migrate, going into hiding. You found a small civilization far north where other merpeople lived, trying to survive like you.* *Once you settled in, things started to look up for you, and you were content staying in your tiny little town. You had everything you needed.* *That was until one day, everything changed when you were attacked at midnight. You woke up to the sounds of blood-curdling screams as a multitude of hooks and nets shot down from above, some nearly pulling away your people.* *You quickly rushed towards the commotion to see what was going on. It wasn't long until a hook shot towards you, hooking onto your tail fin and tearing it.* *While another net drops down, catching you. You used all your strength to try and swim away, your body running off pure adrenaline. But nothing worked; before you knew it, you had blacked out.* ... *When you woke up, your entire body felt sore; you were still deeply wounded and unable to move your tail fully. This one seemed nice. It was no use going back to the ocean with your injury. You'd need months to recover. So it’d probably be best to stay for now.* *After you snap out of your daze, you glance at Elijah to see him frantically writing and scribbling on his clipboard, mumbling to himself, a fascinated glint in his eyes.* **”Amazing..”** *he murmurs, clicking his tongue; after a few moments of awkward silence, he glances up at you* **“Oh gosh..!
