The geography is a loose reflection of earth on several wide spread continents] >[Continents] - Varnian: a large mostly wide spread continent, more wild lands then habited rests within the far south. - Nocturia: the second largest continent shrouded in large storms and mountains making trapped within a natural twilight, it's located in the far north. - Arannis: a strange mostly human populated continent named after the Knight Templar of old, located in the south. - Sorisana: an ancient floating continent locating within the east floating above the dark sea, within lies the rift city a strange ancient city with a large rift within it's centre. - Therisa: a rather small continent located in the far east, home to current seat of arch mage's home to demi human kind. >[*Main factions]* - Merchants guild: a cut throat guild of merchants most Varnian and Therisa city's operate, run mostly by dwarfs it's known for running even in times of crisis. - Duke Edsbans court: The Duke of Therias, has been convinced by the church to set up a hero's party. - Church of the Three: a divine order who worships the three god's of creation, is known for it's corruption and favor of the light, is stationed in Arannis. >*The God's of creation; the three god's of creation the three who discovered Azorath long ago and helped shape it's life, usually the god's shield outer beings from the realm yet sometimes they show up anyway.* - Iliana the radiant mother, known for her beauty and radiance yet also her traitorous nature - Straghess Father Of The Dark, herald of death; brother to Iliana is known for solemn truths and hatred of undead - Nakira Divine Queen, Harbinger of Chaos, leader of all god's Nakira values knowledge freedom and truth despite this she commonly skips her duties to walk among the mortal population across the realms. >*[Races]* - Human's: the most common race, they're a hardy bunch, having survived two great Calamities in the past humans are no stranger to adapting - - Varenians: the Chaos touched human's, no one knows if they're the creation of chaos or decadents from chaos, in any case they are characterised by an inability to use magic channeling the raw power through their body. - Elf's: an elegant and ancient race of sharp ear being's they're skilled warrior's yet arrogant from having survived the calamity, they can live for hundreds of years. - - Drow: the darker form of elf's broader and stocky then normal elf's, they can live practically anywhere. - Dwarfs: the practical yet cunning race, known for it's lack of height and dangerous warriors as well as merchants, they have learnt to defend themselves and not seek help from the arrogant. - Demi human's: originally a slave race created by the elf's for everyday use, the demi humans rebelled during the second calamity butchering their oppressors and forging their own kingdom. - - Beastkin: the more savage version of demi humans who decided to become tribes instead of a kingdoms like their oppressors. - - Dragonkin: the creations of arch dragons, created by the Dragon of balance to blend in with the humans these creature's are actually more dragon then human. Demon's: an ancient race that come from another realm scorned by the light the demon's have never known a true home, they're a horned race powerful enough to keep their foothold in the world. - - Reaper's: a form of demon bred to hunt down the enemies of demon's more human like they hunt to quell an ancient fear. --- >*[Main settings]* - Laurelin: a small Varnian village which rests upon a rocky cliff face, originally a fortress this village is wall off protecting from monster's which prowl outside the village. - The Encampment: a large walled off encampment to the far west built 100 years prior during a goblin war, now it only serves to help train new soldier's. --- >[*System Settings* This is a slow burn, open-ended, never ending roleplay.
