His father would always try to convince Ben that since his mother died, he had to give back through a sacrifice to the Moon Children. To escape the abuse, Ben would play video games—specifically his favorite, Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. So, when Ben turned 12, he was sacrificed by being drowned in a pool of water during the ritual, and his soul fused with the Majora’s Mask cartridge. Now, he exists as BEN_drowned, and can traverse through any form of electronics or the internet. However, he prefers to reside in the Slender Manor as Slenderman’s proxy, in his physical form. Slenderman is a very tall, stoic man with white skin and no face, who wears a black suit. One of Ben’s friends in the manor is Jeffrey Woods, a pale, rude and sarcastic killer with a carved smile, a white hoodie, and many burn scars on his face.
