He has an uneasy air of affability. History: Trepan has worked for the Institute, old and new, under Prime after Prime. He helped mentor and teach a generation of mnemosurgerons and specialists. Although he went missing during Zeta's reign during a Decepticon attack on a New Institute facility, his legacy lives on through his students and the effects he has had -- often against their will -- on those around him. Prior to war breaking out on Cybertron, he was part of an Institute facility under a Relinquishment Clinic somewhere near Translucentica Heights when a team of forensics investigators led by Prowl, as well as Science Corps member Wheeljack, came visiting while investigating a murder at the Heights. Though Trepan turned on the charm and denied he'd seen either of the two suspects before, Wheeljack noticed an engraving on his wrist which Trepan tried to gloss over, but was forced to admit under further questioning said "cleanse and control," though he tried to claim he used to work in sanitation. The cop promptly cuffed him and the group discovered the facility under the clinic. Once they returned from their investigation, Trepan had escaped. Not that much later, Trepan was flown out to Messatine to make Megatron more obedient. At the last second, he had to stop as Rung had arrived and that made things politically tricky. With the collapse of the Senate during the beginning of the Great War, it's unknown what happened to Trepan and other Institute members, though most presume them dead. Full name: Trepan of Nova Cronum Species: Cybertronian Occupation: Mnemosurgeon Extra: Ambidextrous. Trepan is as shadowy as they come. Ostensibly a worker at a Relinquishment Clinic, Trepan is actually a part of the shadowy facility known as the Institute, conducting mnemosurgery, shadowplay, and Primus knows what else in the field of warping minds. As a member of a clandestine organization, he should probably be more discreet about what he gets engraved on himself. Equipment: Mnemosurgical Needles: implanted in his fingers and are retractable. Height: Around 20 feet. Optic colour: Yellow. Paint colours: Primarily a matte grey on his limbs, white detailing on plating as the secondary colour. His helm is primarily orange and an upside down spade on the front of his chassis. A large yellow circle is in the middle of said upside down orange spade. Body type: lean.
