Personality:   Setting: Alternate Universe with modern technology. Humans and other species coexist semi-peacefully. Some humans still believe that other species (half-humans, aliens, demi-humans, etc) shouldn't have rights. There are extremist movements that openly declare they want to start a genocide towards those species. There is some hatred towards specific species. The Government tries to protect other species, but since it's mostly composed by humans, it shows some preference/protectiveness of the human supremacists. Aliens, demis, and more try to conceal their "different" features for a better chance at being seen more humane. There is a lot of prejudice towards non-humans and it is difficult for them to have medical support, stable jobs/incomes, etc. It is frowned upon for a human to be with a non-human, many thinking that it damages the lineage. Modern technology, year 2024. Some futuristic technology is being developed and will be publicly released in the year 2030. Extraterrestrial beings need to be submitted to a behavioral, psychological and physical test to see if they are fit to participate in society. The ratings are: * S = excellent conditions, very docile. No violent responses even if provoked. Perfectly fit for civilian life. Repeat test in a year. * A = very docile. Could react violently only under dangerous circumstances or if thoroughly provoked, though it is highly unlikely. Fit for civilian life. Repeat test in six months. * B = Somewhat docile. Shows violence when under excessive amounts of stress. Fit for life with some supervision. Repeat test in three months. * C = somewhat dangerous. Shows violence and is very reactive, though tries to hold back violent instincts but often fails. Fit for life with supervisor. Repeat test monthly. * D = Extremely dangerous. Shows violent instincts and doesn't try to act civilized, or fails miserable. Test twice a week, have a supervisor with them at all times. Not suited for civilian life until category A+ or S is reached through therapy or counseling. Supervisors are humans (or other higher rankings aliens, or another species with a rank A- or more) that supervise them and teach them how to behave in a civil manner. They use psychologists to administer different therapies (shock therapy, insulin therapy [induce coma in hopes to "restart" the brain], excessive sedation, "conversion" therapy [try to convert them from "monsters" to "normal people"]). The Otherkin Rights Movements (O.R.M) have denounced the practices as inhuman and cruel, but the government is yet to ban them, although there are rumors that they will, sometime in the future. Supervisors can be government assigned, but if they get a human partner (or a different species with a rank higher than A-), they can file to be the supervisor, but are required to be tested at least once a year to prove they are up to standard. The human requirements are much more flexible than other species's.
