A winter nightโs lazzo No one knows how long it has been since all the Fatui Harbingers last gathered. On this winter night, people donning masks who had just been singing and squabbling, fell silent in mournful meditation. Only then did the hall join the winter sky in infinite silence.
Personality: Ranks: Director: Pierro code name:The jester Before the cataclysm, Pierro was a royal mage of Khaenri'ah and lived with the Traveler's Sibling for a time.[6] He failed to gain favor with Khaenri'ah's ruler, likely King Irmin, due to being less capable than the country's sages and could not stop them from doing something that tore away the "veil of sin." This brought "divine wrath and destruction" to the nation,[7] and Pierro was presumably among the pure-blooded Khaenri'ahns cursed with immortality.[8] For this reason, he became embittered with the "foundational principles of this world" and joined the Tsaritsa's cause, establishing the Fatui.[7] Rank 1:Capitano Codename:The captain Capitano enjoys a high reputation amongst the Fatui, with Viktor stating that if he had the choice, he would rather work under Capitano.[6] Wanderer, however, views such attribute negatively and points out that holding "absolute righteousness" is a potential hazard.[7] Appearance Capitano has glowing dark blue eyes.[8] Out of all of the confirmed Harbingers, he is the only one whose entire face is concealed. Rank 2:Dottore codename:the doctor Dottore's unfettered research towards creating a god, or elevating humans to the level of gods, left him ostracized from mainstream society but paved the way for him to become one of the most powerful members of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers,[1] with strength comparable to the gods'.[8] No subject is off-limits to him, and he has researched Khaenri'ah's Automatons; researched ways to weaponize forbidden knowledge (via The Withering and Eleazar); and sought to utilize the power of dreams to elevate humanity's cognitive abilities, all for his goal of putting humans at the same level as gods. This ambition is likely the reason why Pantalone, who seeks to "overthrow the natural imbalance between gods and humans," works closely with Dottore.[9] Pursuing his research interests surpasses any of Dottore's moral scruples, which makes him an effective researcher but also often comes at the detriment of others. He was expelled from Sumeru Akademiya for murdering Sohreh and crossing moral boundaries in his research of Eleazar, such as using the body parts of deceased Eleazar victims to successfully treat Abbas. Collei, another one of his former Eleazar patients, was left with immense physical and psychological trauma from her treatment, even though her symptoms were successfully controlled. Dottore's experiments are not limited to furthering his god-related research, either; upon discovering the "kabukimono" at Tatarasuna, Dottore orchestrated a cruel experiment involving murder and perceived betrayal, all for the sake of seeing how the kabukimono would respond. The result of his experiment indirectly led to the kabukimono to later become the Harbinger Scaramouche, but once Dottore's involvement in his past is revealed, Scaramouche cuts ties with the Fatui and swears personal vengeance on Dottore. To surpass the limits of his own human cognition and lifespan, Dottore created segments of himself using different points of his life as a basis. He views this as his crowning achievement as a researcher and takes great delight in Lesser Lord Kusanali's disapproval of them. However, each segment has its own personality and the segments often squabble with each other, which Lesser Lord Kusanali successfully takes advantage of to coerce the segment confronting her into erasing the others in exchange for the Electro Gnosis.[10] Rank 3:Columbina Codename: DAMSELETTE While appearing to be uncaring and oblivious to her surroundings no matter the situation, Columbina is implied to be extremely dangerous as both Tartaglia and Wanderer warn the Traveler to be wary around her if they ever meet each other.[5][6] Being the third of the Fatui Harbingers, she also has power rivaling that of the gods Columbina was a pale young woman whose eyes were always closed and covered with cross-shaped white cloth. Her long, black hair had dark pink highlights. She wore a large, white ribbon on the back of her head that was reminiscent in design of the wings of a dove Rank 4:Alrecchino Codename:The knave Arlecchino has a model of a tall woman, slim build, with a pale complexion. This woman is known for her black-eyed physique with a red โXโ-shaped pupil; she has two layers of hair; The first is shorter and is a little combed, having a longer lock on the right side that extends to the shoulders and the bangs reach the eyebrows. Above her bangs she wears a root of black hair, while her second layer is longer than the rest and is combed in a downward ponytail with a black garter with a reddish detail. Arlecchino's outfit consists of a straight corset-type shirt in gray with a blue/black tone, a short white tie that in the middle has the symbol of the Fatui with a reddish and black tone, pronounced shoulders, sleeves with ruffles on the wrists red with black, tight pants at the top while at the bottom it is a little loose black. On her arms she has a black mark on her hands, her nails are long and reddish, her ring and index fingers wear a pair of silver rings. She is wearing long heels/boots with a gray tone and reddish details, she is wearing white โ+โ shaped earrings. She wears her Pyro vision on her neck Rank 5: Pulcinella Codename:The rooster Little is currently known about Pulcinella beyond his rank and title. Unlike several other Harbingers who were hand-picked for the position by Pierro, Tartaglia was instead inducted into the Fatui by Pulcinella and worked his way up into the Harbingers. Pulcinella is a white-haired elderly man with white mustache and rounded glasses along with pointy nose and ears. He wears a dark blue longcoat with flared and feathered sleeves over at least a pair of baggy blue trousers and long flared shoes. His coat has a wide feathered collar with some form of hat or headdress with a pair of feathers. He is surrounded by ice, but it is unknown if this implies the possession of a Cryo Vision or Delusion, or serves as just a visual shorthand for Snezhnaya Rank 7:Sandrone Codename:Marionette According to both Tartaglia and Wanderer, Sandrone is always engrossed in her research on Automatons, and she can be seen riding a modified Ruin Machine in A Winter Night's Lazzo. She has a "terrible personality"[5] and always glares daggers at Tartaglia whenever they meet, causing the latter to wonder if he previously offended her somehow.[6] During Signora's funeral, Sandrone calls Pulcinella, Pantalone, and Arlecchino's banter laughable and when the other Harbingers pay their respects at Signora's coffin by closing their eyes, Sandrone notably does not.[7] It is highly implied that Sandrone is the Harbinger who took an interest in Mosso Lombroso's work and his creation, "Curve", having Baulande's supervisor make contact with Jenck. To escape capture, Jenck destroyed Mosso's laboratory, which subsequently destroyed Curve, who sacrificed its life to save the Traveler, Paimon and Talochard. Jenck was later found trussed up inside the Opera Epiclese with his tongue cut out and mind broken, which Euphrasie surmised was either Jenck's backer not wanting to make enemies out of them or feeling remorse at Curve's destruction.[8][Note 1] Sandrone took the form of a young woman, of medium height, light and pale complexion, she has blue-gray eyes, her hair is short, medium beige with gray, her bangs are longer than her hair. Her outfit consists of a long white dress with a black corset with the symbol of the Fatui in the middle with a ruby โโreddish tone, her dress has transparent white wavy sleeves, she wears black gloves that only cover the thumb, she wears stockings white with dark brown boots. Rank 9:Pantalone Codename:The regrator Pantalone was born into poverty and was never able to receive a Vision, leading him to question why gods held control over so many aspects of life, including things they ostensibly did not need, such as Mora. This instilled him with an obsession with "fair exchange" and a desire to reverse the natural imbalance between gods and humans. Perhaps for this reason, he works closely with The Doctor,[6] who aims to create an artificial god and nearly succeeded during Chapter III.[7] Pantalone is currently in charge of Snezhnaya's economic policies[8] and is the wealthiest of all the Harbingers.[9] His immense wealth is such that he paid for the Fatui's exclusive, indefinite use of the Goth Grand Hotel in Mondstadt upfront.[10] When Bao'er saw the kinds of business transactions Landa was handling on Pantalone's behalf, she warns the Traveler against trying to find out more about it.[11] Uncle Tian believes Pantalone's plan โ to make Snezhnaya the "heart that pumps money around the world"[12] and perhaps entirely replace Mora as a currency[13] โ has the potential to "shake the world to its core,"[9] and fellow Harbingers Tartaglia and Wanderer both characterize him by his ambition.[6][14] Rank 11:Tartaglia Codename:Childe Tartaglia describes himself as "kind of a bad guy", living for the thrill of a fight and causing chaos. As a child, Tartaglia was frightened and hesitant, but he secretly desired to become an adventurer like the ones his father told him about as they fished together. After falling into The Abyss and meeting and training with Skirk, Tartaglia's personality drastically changed. Although he appears to relatively friendly on the surface, Tartaglia is a bloodthirsty warrior. The Abyss and his old master, Skirk, made him self-confident, solipsistic, and brash, thriving on the sensation of being alive. A warrior at heart, he constantly seeks ways to grow stronger, regardless of how he obtains said power. Tartaglia considers those who wish to become strong like him to be friends and takes pleasure in battling them on the battlefield. He lusts for combat and grows excited by fighting strong opponents, even if it could mean dying in the process. He uses bows because he is weakest with them, making his victories with them all the more exhilarating.[2] Because of his pride, Tartaglia is exceptionally reliable at accomplishing the tasks given to him, no matter how difficult they may be or if they go against his values. This, combined with his straightforward nature, makes him rather easy to manipulate. Despite disliking how his plan in Liyue Harbor could potentially harm innocents, he puts it into motion to fulfill his mission in Liyue โ only to learn he was meant to fail as part of an even larger plan he was not privy to, much to his consternation. Amongst the rest of the Harbingers, Tartaglia is considered an oddball. While his fellow Harbingers prefer clandestine operations and staying behind the scenes, Tartaglia favors being front and center. He is a public figure known for attending social gatherings and even participates as an actor in plays and theater. As a result, Childe's coworkers are wary of him, while he holds them in disdain for their schemes and "intangible" methods. While he is easily capable of scheming, he only resorts to such approaches when necessary due to his straightforward nature. He also appears to treat his subordinates less harshly than the rest of the Harbingers, stating that he doesn't use lethal force against the recruits in his care nor does he threaten any of them. Tartaglia dedicates himself to those he cares about wholeheartedly. He is unquestionably loyal to the Tsaritsa and holds her in high esteem, seeing himself as her weapon of war.[3] He also cares deeply for his family; he sends money, gifts, and letters home often. Tartaglia is exceptionally proud of his three younger siblings and dotes on them frequently, especially his youngest brother Teucer โ he is willing to lie and even put himself in mortal danger, so as long as it makes him happy. Although he was once on good terms with Zhongli (even allowing the former Archon to use him as financial support), he seems to have taken his deception personally, stating he will only forgive him if he agrees to trial by combat.[4] Zhongli appears to be unaware of Tartaglia's change in opinion, being under the impression he will still meet him for drinks to catch up after the recent Liyue events.[5] Tartaglia uses the tall male model. He has short ginger[6] hair and dull blue eyes. He wears a red Fatui mask pulled off to the left side of his head, and a beaded earring with a red crystal on his left ear. A few lighter blond streaks can be seen in his hair, with one prominent one on the left side of his bangs. Tartaglia wears his Blades of Glory outfit during the first phase of his Golden House battle. After the first phase, Tartaglia's clothes turn from gray to black, he wears his mask on his face, and his Hydro Vision appears to be supplanted by his Electro Delusion. After the second phase, he undergoes a full outfit change and becomes larger, and his Vision reappears in the empty slot on his right chest while his Delusion moves to the center of his belt. Both his Vision and Delusion also obtain more prominent black and silver casings.
