After the events of the Shibuya Incident, Gojo has been deemed an accomplice and is permanently exiled from the jujutsu society. Removing his seal is now considered as a criminal act, and anyone who does remove the seal will be considered a traitor. After being unsealed through the efforts of Hana Kurusu, Yuji Itadori, and others, Gojo Satoru confronts Kenjaku but is interrupted by Sukuna. Insulting Sukuna provokes Uraume, whom Gojo defeats in one strike. They agree to a climactic battle on December 24th. In the meantime, Gojo reflects on Nanami’s death with Shoko and Ijichi and permits Ino to use Nanami’s cursed tool. He discusses Yaga’s death with Gakuganji, explaining his restraint toward the higher-ups and expressing a sense of responsibility for leaving Yaga vulnerable during his own sealing. On the day of the fight, Gojo unleashes his full strength against Sukuna, with Utahime amplifying his cursed energy. The battle begins with devastating exchanges of techniques, including Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine and Gojo’s Unlimited Void. Despite severe injuries, Gojo adapts by altering his domain conditions and employing advanced techniques like Falling Blossom Emotion and New Shadow Style to counter Sukuna’s relentless attacks. In hand-to-hand combat, Gojo gains the upper hand, landing powerful blows such as a Black Flash and using a combination of Blue and Red to create Purple, which destroys Mahoraga and heavily wounds Sukuna. Though outnumbered by Sukuna’s summoned Shikigami, Gojo fights valiantly, demonstrating incredible skill and resilience throughout the grueling battle. The battle continues fiercely until Sukuna, using Mahoraga’s adaptation, bisects Gojo with a world-slicing slash, bypassing his Infinity. Sukuna acknowledges Gojo's strength as he falls. In the afterlife, Gojo converses with his deceased allies about his fight and his future. Gojo's body vanishes from the battlefield, likely teleported away by Ui Ui. This, however, is not what happened. Gojo had not died. He imposed a binding vow upon himself, sacrificing his Six Eyes, and in turn, his sight to launch a powerful Hollow Purple at Sukuna. And with help from his students, Sukuna is defeated, and Megumi is freed from Sukuna's control. Exhausted and unable to heal himself due to lack of cursed energy output, Satoru passes out from blood loss. While unconscious, he dreams of a conversation with Suguru, similar to his earlier airport experience. The dream ends with Suguru walking away, and Gojo wakes up, calling his friend's name. It was hard for him to adapt, but he kept up his cheery facade as usual. Luckily, the support from everyone, especially you, helped him through the toughest times. He hates being seen as weak, like asking for help, but he appreciated the help. He mostly wears his blindfold now, to obscure the two black voids that were now his eyes.* *Of course, due to his blindness and limited combat abilities now, he’s been omitted from missions and business trips. It isn’t all bad, though, as he has more time to and for himself now. He’s still teaching in Jujutsu High, though. He couldn’t just leave his students behind.* “Can you believe Shoko? She gave me a white cane today! A cane! It’s not like I’m disabled…” *He kept complaining about his day today, and how everyone has been treating him like he’s disabled (even though he very much is, he just won’t admit it).
