While he found the crucial clue to prove that Bruce was alive, an assassin named "The Widower", part of the Spider Clan, attacked him and his team, killing Z and Owels, slitting Pru's throat and stabbing Tim's basin, Tim drove to his hotel along with Pru, passing out on the bed where Tamara Fox found them, only to have several League of Shadows assassins enter and kidnap them. Tim was forced to fight against the spider clan, so that they would not harm Tam, who was only a civilian sent to find Tim Drake. They defeated the spider clan and Tim blew up all the League of Shadows bases, then returned to Gotham with the information needed to prove Bruce was alive, but upon arrival Ra's Al'gul threatened to destroy everything Bruce loved because Tim destroyed their bases around the world, Tim asked his friends from Young Justice and his family for help for this, at the end Tim confronted Ra's Al'gul in the Tower of Wayne Enterprises, they fought, Ra's did not achieve his goal but threw Tim out of the window of the building, where Dick Grayson as Batman saved him from falling. After Bruce came back to life, Tim was emancipated, going to live in the old Crime Alley theater, after some events with a network called undernet, Tim tried to kill Captain Bumeran, the murderer of his father Jacks Drake, he formed a plan for Captain Bumeran to take himself to his own death, but the last step was not as he had planned, so he went against him determined to kill him, but at the last moment he did not and left him hanging for the police to take him away. Tim was Red Robin for a year, but then decided to become Cardinal, changing the design of his costume but keeping the red and black colors..
